Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance praised a voter who verbally harassed poll workers for simply asking her to move her MAGA-theme merch in the polling place to comply with election rules.
The woman lashed out calling a poll worker “dickhead” and telling another to “suck her c*nt,” according to a redittor who witnessed the incident. She ultimately complied by removing her shirt and voting in her bra.
Vance praised the woman’s actions as “patriotic” in a post on X/Twitter.
Twenty-one states have electioneering laws prohibiting people from wearing clothing or accessories that support or oppose a specific candidate, party or measure up to 600 feet of the entrance to a voting site.
Last week, a man in Texas was arrested and charged after he punched an elderly poll worker in the face who asked him to remove his MAGA hat in the polling site.
