Victims of Nashville school shooting identified.

Police have identified the six people who died during a mass shooting at the Covenant School, a private Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tenn. on Monday.

Police said the shooter, a former student at the school,identified as Audrey Hale, 28, entered through a side door and opened fire with two assault rifles and a handgun.


Six people, three adults and three children died. They were identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, all 9 years old; Cynthia Peak, 61, Katherine Koonce, 60, and Mike Hill, 61.

Hale was shot and killed by police during the attack.

Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake said Hale obtained at least two of the weapons used in the attack legally.
