Video shows Ukrainian mocking Russian troops stranded after their tank runs out of fuel: “Can I tow you back to Russia?”

A viral video shows a Ukrainian offering to tow a stalled tank and troops back to Russia after the vehicle ran out of fuel.

“Are you guys broken down? Broken down?” the driver asked the Russian troops.

“Out of fuel,” a Russian soldier replied.

“Can I tow you back… to Russia?” the driver quips.

The soldiers laugh and later admitted that they have no idea where they’re going.

“Everything is on our side, we are winning and you Russians are surrendering,” the driver replies while leaving troops stranded. The less than a minute clip ended with the driver passing another tank, which looks similarly stranded, on the side of road.

The video comes after reports saying Russian troops are “frustrated” by what the United States believes is a viable and very determined Ukrainian resistance, Reuters reports.

“We know that they have not made the progress that they have wanted to make, particularly in the north. They have been frustrated by what they have seen is a very determined resistance,” a U.S. defense official said. “It has slowed them down.”
