Watchdog group to track which companies hire top Trump administration alums.

Any company that hires former top aides in Donald Trump’s administration will be identified by a new liberal advocacy group formed to track future employment of Trump administration alums Bloomberg reports.

The group, Campaign Against Corporate Complicity was formed by two public-interest groups in Washington, American Oversight and Accountable.US. It will track several former Trump administration officials with a special focus on those who shaped the administration’s inhumane immigration policies, including Chad Wolf, former acting DHS secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen the former DHS secretary and Stephen Miller.

The group will also track future employment of former counselor to the president, Kellyanne Conway and former Interior Secretary David Bernhardt.

“The people who companies hire reflect their corporate values,” Accountable.US President Kyle Herrig said. “If companies hire senior level officials that engaged in Trump’s attempts to undermine and violate the rule of law, they are complicit in the cruel, undemocratic, and dangerous policies and rhetoric of his administration.”

In a letter addressed to “America’s CEOs” the group urges companies to “demand clear, evidence-based answers to whether a former official participated in enabling, crafting, implementing, or defending a concerted effort to shatter democratic norms and spread hate.”

The group also said they plan to apply pressure to CEOs of media organizations, publishers and public speaking firms.
