White House calls ‘No Kings’ protests an “utter failure with minuscule attendance,” claims 250k attended Trump’s military parade.

The White House dismissed the ‘No Kings’ protests as a sparsely attended “utter failure” while inflating the attendance at a military parade in Washington DC to mark the 250th birthday of the Army which coincides with Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.

Millions of people were estimated to have taken to the streets in nearly 2,000 locations nationwide, including cities, towns, and community spaces, across the United States on Saturday for ‘No Kings’ rallies to protest Trump’s authoritarian agenda.

In a statement, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung dismissed the massive protests as a “complete and utter failure with minuscule attendance.”

“Many more Americans are commemorating our brave military men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice and who those continue to serve our country,” he added.

The protests were on the same day as a military parade in Washington, D.C., to commemorate the Army’s 250th anniversary and Trump’s birthday.

According to the Associated Press, attendance for the event appeared to fall well short of early predictions that as many as 200,000 people would attend the festival and parade.

Yet, in a post on social media Cheung claims the event was packed.

“Amazing. Despite the threat of rain, over 250,000 patriots showed up to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the @USArmy,” Cheung wrote on X.
