Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff’s brutal takedown of Donald Trump over the weekend appeared to have struck a nerve in the White House, prompting officials to have a public meltdown on social media Monday.

At a campaign rally in Atlanta, Ossoff slammed Trump for regularly sleeping through meetings, trading stocks, building his ballroom, and traveling with his aide Natalie Harp. At the same time, service members fight in an unpopular war he started with Iran.

“They made you pay more for everything, and took us to war on lies, and spent most of last year trying to cover up for the world’s most famous pedophile while the crook president and his crook family raked in billions while your tax dollars were put to work backing Trump’s businesses,” Ossoff said.

“While the sailors on the [USS Abraham] Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings,” the Georgia senator added. “He golfs and trades stocks. See, he doesn’t want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the amir of Qatar.”

Ossoff’s stinging attacks on Trump appeared to have hit home, as several White House officials issued statements on Monday offering the same juvenile insults, nicknames, and petty personal attacks unique to members of the Trump administration.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung nonsensically referred to Ossoff as “Jon Jackoff,” a “cuck loser,” and “a miserable person.”

“Jon Jackoff has to be the biggest cuck loser in politics,” Cheung wrote on social media. “Instead of denigrating hard-working people serving their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask himself why he’s a miserable person who hates this country. It’s because he’s a radical, extremist Dumocrat.”

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle also fired back at Ossoff on Monday, calling the lawmaker a “cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid cosplaying as [former President] Barack Obama.”

“Nobody gives a shit what this lightweight loser says,” Ingle added, demonstrating that he actually gives a shit what Ossoff said.

Ossoff is running for re-election against the Republican nominee, U.S. Representative Mike Collins. Polling has consistently shown Ossoff maintaining a lead well above the margins of error in the matchup.
