The announcement came less than two weeks after Gov. Gordon held a press conference to announce new measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Those measures did not include a statewide mask mandate even though all but one of the state’s county health officers called on Gov. Gordon to implement a mask mandate, Casper Star Tribune reported.

During the press conference Gov. Gordon repeatedly called people who dismissed the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic “knuckleheads”.
