Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) said Hunter Biden has “no balls” and demanded he be arrested on the spot after Biden made another surprise appearance on Capitol Hill Wednesday.
The House Oversight and Accountability Committee met Wednesday to consider a resolution to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena for a closed-door testimony related to the House impeachment inquiry into his father, President Joe Biden.
Hunter has said he will only testify publicly to avoid House Republicans distorting his testimony to promote their narrative.
Wednesday’s hearing went off the rails when Hunter showed up at the proceedings.
“Who bribed Hunter Biden to be here today?” Mace asked.
“You are the epitome of white privilege coming into the Oversight Committee, spitting in our face, ignoring a Congressional subpoena to be deposed,” she continued. “What are you afraid of? You have no balls to come up here.”
“I think that Hunter Biden should be arrested right here, right now and go straight to jail,” she added.
Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) then asked for a vote calling on Biden to testify before the committee today.
“Let’s vote. Let’s take a vote. Who wants to hear from Hunter, right now, today?” Moskowitz said. “Anyone? Come on. Who wants to hear from Hunter? No one. So I’m a visual learner. And the visual is clear. Nobody over there wants to hear from the witness.”
