Ben Carson says he was "desperately ill" with COVID, says monoclonal antibody treatment saved his life.

HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson wrote in a Facebook post on Friday that he became “desperately ill” with the coronavirus, but is now “out of the woods” after receiving the monoclonal antibody treatment Trump received when he was hospitalized with COVID.

Carson, a retired neurosurgeon said he believes that the monoclocal antibody treatment saved his life.

Carson told The Washington Post that he took Oleander extract and his symptoms improved within hours. But in his Facebook post he said his symptoms improved for a short period of time before they accelerated and he became “desperately ill.”
