President Joe Biden joked about Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) infamous groping incident at the White House Correspondents’ dinner on Saturday.
“We’re here as a reminder that folks think what’s going on in Congress is political theater. That’s not true. If Congress were theater, they would’ve thrown out Lauren Boebert a long time ago,” Biden said.
Boebert was kicked out of a performance of the musical ‘Beetlejuice’ last September after the congresswoman and her male companion caused a “disturbance” by singing, using phones to record, and vaping.
Surveillance video from inside the theater also appears to show Boebert and her date groping each other during the performance.
Biden also joked about his age, which is a major concern for voters in the November election.
“Of course age is an issue. I’m a grown man, and I’m running against a 6-year-old,” he said, referring to Trump. “Age is the only thing we have in common; my vice president actually endorses me!”
