Boebert ‘bailed’ on her family in off-roading accident before 2020 primary then tried to cover it up, report says.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) ditched her family after an off-roading accident in 2020, two weeks before the GOP primary, then begged her family not to tell anyone about the crash.

According to the Daily Mail, Boebert was off-roading in a Jeep ATV with her son, dog, and now former sister-in-law, Tori Hopper in May 2020 in Moab, Utah, when she lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle careened down a ravine and hit a rock wall. Instead of helping, Boebert ‘bailed’ from the driver’s seat of the jeep leaving her son and dog in the back seat and her former sister-in-law, who was badly injured and was “screaming and freaking out,” a source told the outlet.

Hopper’s mother Stephanie Bohochi, confirmed the accident to the Daily Mail, telling the outlet: “She [Tori] got stuck inside of a crevice in the Jeep while Lauren sort of kind of took off her belt and slipped out.”

Bohochi said her daughter’s “whole face was smashed,” and her nose and teeth broken, her lip “busted open.” She also sustained injuries to her chest that led to serious complications months later.

Employees at Boebert’s gun-themed restaurant in Colorado remembers Hopper returning to work with broken teeth and facial injuries.

However, there is no report that a 911 call was ever made because Boebert “begged” Hopper to stay quiet about the accident which could have affected her race for Congress.

“Lauren begged Tori not to say anything. She tried to use her money,” a source said. “She said, ‘I’ll pay for it all,’ but Tori had insurance, so she didn’t have to pay for anything.”

Boebert has a history of reckless driving. In 2016 she was charged with careless driving and operating an unsafe vehicle after rolling her truck into a ditch according to the Denver Post.
