Eric Adams calls 911 to report a fight in his first day as NYC mayor.

New York City mayor, Eric Adams called police to report an assault on his first day on the job.

According to The Associated Press, Adams saw two men fighting while he was waiting to board the subway to City Hall and called 911.

In a video posted on social media by aNBC reporter, Adams can be heard telling authorities about an “assault in progress” involving three males.


Adams, a former New York City police captain was sworn into office in Times Square earlier that day, minutes after the ball dropped on New Years Eve.
