“F*ck unity”: Trump’s top AG candidate says he wants to ‘drag dead political bodies through the streets’

Mike Davis, a conservative attorney who is reportedly being considered for the role of attorney general in President-elect Donald Trump’s second term celebrated the Republican’s win with a series of disturbing tweets on Wednesday.

“Here’s my current mood: I want to drag their dead political bodies through the streets, burn them, and throw them off the wall. (Legally, politically, and financially, of course.),” Davis wrote in a post on X.

“Fuck unity,” he wrote in another. “We have the votes. And they tried to kill Trump.”

According to the Washington Post, Trump has suggested that he is considering Davis to run the Department of Justice during his second term because he believed his first term picks “were a mistake” because they were “weak or defied him.”

Davis has made comments about jailing journalists if he becomes attorney general and in his series of posts on Wednesday hinted that he would target Trump’s enemies, encouraging Special Counsel Jack Smith and former Republican congresswoman Liz Cheney to “lawyer up.”

If he’s not selected as attorney general, there is a belief in Trump world that he will play a role in the Trump administration either as acting attorney general, White House counsel, chief of staff at the Department of Justice or an advisor to Trump, according to Politico.

“Donald Trump loves him,” Caroline Wren, a GOP fundraiser told the outlet. “If he isn’t the attorney general, he’s going to play some sort of role.”

In a statement Donald Trump Jr. called Davis “the tip of the spear defending my father from these corrupt Democrat prosecutors.” He added: “He’s exactly the type of fighter that I’d like to see involved in a second Trump administration.”
