John Bolton, Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, said Joe Biden nailed it when he called the former president a “sick f*ck” and a “f*cking assh*le.”
In an interview with CNN on Friday, Bolton was asked if he agrees with Biden’s assessment of his former boss.
“Well, I think in personality terms, I think the President Biden has it pretty well nailed,” Bolton said, according to a clip by Mediaite.
But, Bolton argued that Trump’s personality is not the problem, “it’s his lack of competence to do the job.”
“He doesn’t understand the job, particularly in the national security space,” he added. “He didn’t learn much in the first four years. He certainly hasn’t learned anything since then.”
Bolton’s comments came after Politico reported that in private Biden describes Trump as a “sick fuck” who delights in others’ misfortunes, and recently said of Trump: “What a fucking asshole the guy is.”
