Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden is leading Donald Trump in Nevada, Pennsylvania and Ohio, according to a Fox News poll released on Thursday.
Biden’s support in each of these battleground states is 50% or higher.
Among likely voters, Biden leads Trump by 11 points in Nevada, 52-41 percent. In Ohio, 50 percent of likely voters supported Joe Biden and 45 percent supported Donald Trump. In Pennsylvania, Biden has a 7 point over Trump, 51-44 percent.
More bad news for Trump, his approval rating is under water in each of the three states and voters prefer Biden to handle the coronavirus and nominate the next justice to the Supreme Court, some of the top issues in the upcoming election. On top of that, there are very few undecided voters left in these key battleground states that were crucial to Trump’s 2016 victory.
The Fox News poll was conducted between September 20-23, 2020 under the joint direction of Beacon Research and Shaw & Company. Pollsters spoke by cellphone and landline to over 800 likely voters in each of the three states. In each state, the margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
