Fireworks erupted outside the Delaware federal courtroom where Hunter Biden is on trial Tuesday after his wife, Melissa Cohen Biden cursed out a former Trump administration official.
“You have no right to be here, you Nazi piece of shit,” Cohen-Biden told former Trump White House aide Garrett Ziegler as he tried to enter the courtroom during a brief morning break, according to NBC News.
She then walked away and returned to the courtroom.
Ziegler did not respond to her in the hallway, but later told NBC News: “I’m not a Nazi, I’m a believer in the U.S. Constitution. I haven’t said one thing to them.”
Hunter is on trial for three counts in connection to owning a firearm while using narcotics. He has pleaded not guilty.
Hunter sued Ziegler last year after his company published more than one hundred thousand leaked emails from his laptop.
Ziegler told NBC News he was at Hunter’s trial because “it’s prudent for me to be here.”
