Indiana woman who called Jan. 6 the 'best f**king day ever' sentenced to 14 days in prison.

An Indiana who had the time of her life among the mob of Donald Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 has been sentenced to serve time in jail.

Donna Bissey, 52, was sentenced to 14 days in jail on Tuesday. She is also required to pay a $500 fine and do 60 hours of community service, Judge Tanya Chutkan in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled.

Both Bissey and her friend, Anna Morgan-Lloyd pleaded guilty to one charge relating to the Capitol riot–parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building. Three other charges against them were dropped as part of the agreement.

Authorities were tipped off about the women’s involvement in the riot by social media users who saw photos and video of them inside the Capitol building. The caption for one of the photos read “Inside Capitol Building,” under the post, Bissey commented “best f**king day ever!! I’ll never forget. We got into the Capitol Building.”

Lloyd was sentenced to 18 months of probation, $500 in restitution, and 40 hours of community service in June. She was the first Capitol riot defendant to be sentenced.

Prosecutors asked the court for the same sentence to be handed down to Bissey that Lloyd received.

However, Bissey’s public defender argued that the sentence was too harsh and that she had already suffered enough. In a letter to the judge, Bissey said some of her neighbors in Bloomfield, Indiana, have shunned her since the riot. She called herself a “God fearing, country loving, law abiding, hard working patriot.”

In the end, Judge Chutkan said she handed down this sentence to Bissey because she had celebrated and bragged about her participation in what amounted to an attempted overthrow of the government, according to The Associated Press.
