Cliff Schecter, a John McCain biographer, issued a warning to Meghan McCain after she threatened to “start spilling tea” on her father’s true feelings about Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

McCain took to X on Friday to push back against Harris’ mention of her father’s vote against the repeal of the Affordable Care Act at a rally earlier in the week.

“Now, I know democrats want to reinvent history and turn my Dad into any illusion you guys need him to be depending on the political moment you need to bastardize his memory for…,” McCain wrote.

“But please don’t make me start sharing what I remember him ACTUALLY saying about Kamala Harris…” she continued.

“And consider this my final warning shot, I will start spilling tea,” McCain added in another post.

On Sunday, Schecter fired back, threatening to spill the tea on what the late Arizona senator’s advisors told him about what he really thought about his daughter.

“I wrote a book about your dad in ’08, as I’m sure you know, Meghan. So go ahead and do it, nepo,” Schecter wrote..

“Then I’ll share what your father’s advisors & others close to him told me he really thought about you,” he continued. “Things I had no reason to publish except to be cruel, but will happily share now in light of what you’ve become You go first.”
