South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) dismissed a claim by a conservative website that she had an affair with former Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski.
“These rumors are total garbage and a disgusting lie. These old, tired attacks on conservative women are based on a falsehood that we can’t achieve anything without a man’s help,” she wrote in a tweet. “I love Bryon. I’m proud of the God-fearing family we’ve raised together. Now I’m getting back to work.”
Conservative website, American Greatness published a story on Wednesday citing “multiple sources” claiming that Noem “is having an extramarital affair” with Lewandowski who is serving as her informal advisor. Noem has emerged as a possible contender for the Republican Party nomination for president in 2024.
Lewandowski already made headlines on Wednesday after Politico published a story accusing him of sexually harassing the wife of a Republican donor at a Las Vegas charity event over the weekend.
