Lara Trump suggests NY AG Letitia James' investigations caused the death of children.

Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law and Fox News contributor, Lara Trump suggested Thursday that New York Attorney General Letitia James caused the death of children with her investigations of the Trump family.

Trump, the wife of Eric Trump who currently serves as executive vice president of development and acquisition for the Trump Organization, told Fox & Friends that kids died because of James’ investigations which led to the Trump Foundation being shut down for illegal activity, including using the money they raised for their personal use.

The family was ordered to pay $2 million in damages. Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. were also barred from serving on the boards of charities for the next 10 years.

“This is a woman who — people may not know this, my husband started a charity to raise money for kids at St. Jude Children’s Hospital when he was 22 years old,” Trump said on Fox Thursday.

“He raised $30 million for the kids at St. Jude and Letitia James has such vitriol and hatred for anyone with the last name Trump, that she decided to investigate my husband’s charity despite the fact that it had one of the lowest expense ratios of any private charity in America,” she continued “And unfortunately guess who was hurt by that? It wasn’t my husband. It’s the kids of St. Jude, who knows how many kids have died unnecessarily thanks to her investigation and her — just vitriol and hatred for anyone with the last name Trump. It’s disgusting.”

Trump’s attack comes after James filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against Trump, three of his adult children and his business, accusing them of fraudulent financial practices and seeking to bar them from real estate transactions for the next five years.
