Lauren Boebert receives cheers at church for saying she prays that Joe Biden’s “days be few”.

Boebert: Cartel and human traffickers are 'salivating' over border deal.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) was cheered over the weekend at a church service after telling the congregation that she prays President Joe Biden’s “days be few.”

Boebert made the comments while speaking at the Spiritual and Leadership Training (SALT) conference at Storehouse Church in Dallas, Texas.

“We pray for our presidents, you know, it says, ‘let his days be few and another take his office,” Boebert said. “That’s why I filed articles of impeachment for Joe Biden. Unfortunately, he does have a really great insurance policy named Kamala Harris,”

Boebert said she was quoting from Psalms 109:8 which states: May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership. May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow. May his children be wandering beggars; may they be driven from their ruined homes. May a creditor seize all he has; may strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.”

Boebert made similar comments last June during a Christian event in Colorado Springs, and got the same response from the audience.

“I do want you to know that I pray for our President. Psalm 109:8 says, ‘May his days be few and another take his office.’ Hallelujah! Glory to God,” Boebert said at the time as the crowd clapped and cheered.

Other Republicans have used this verse also to call for the death of Democratic politicians while hiding behind their faith.

While speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority conference in 2016, former Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) directed the verse at then-President Barack Obama, according to Business Insider.

“In his role as president, I think we should pray for Barack Obama. But I think we need to be very specific about how we pray,” Perdue said. “We should pray like Psalms 109:8 says. It says, ‘Let his days be few, and let another have his office.'”
