Leavitt does not rule out the Trump administration arresting federal judges who oppose immigration agenda.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt refused to rule out the Trump administration arresting federal judges or Supreme Court justices who do not comply with its immigration agenda.

Last week, the FBI arrested Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly obstructing a federal immigration operation.

At Monday’s press briefing Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked Leavitt if the administration would go as far to arrest federal judges including Supreme Court justices.

“As you guys look at other judges, would you ever arrest somebody higher up on the judicial food chain, like a federal judge or even a Supreme Court justice?” Doocy asked.

Leavitt did not give a direct answer on whether the Trump administration will target higher-level judges, saying “that’s a hypothetical question.”

“Anyone who is breaking the law or obstructing federal law, enforcement officials from doing their jobs is putting themselves at risk of being prosecuted, absolutely,” she added.
