Omarosa: "I don't know if [Trump] will even be healthy enough to run in 2024"

Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman said former President Donald Trump may not even be healthy enough to run for president in 2024.

“I think going into 2024 I’m really more concerned that Donald Trump hasn’t come forward and talked about his health,” Manigault Newman said in an interview on Sunday. “I don’t know if he will even be healthy enough to run in 2024 and I think he needs to come clean to the American people about where he is on that before getting into a very stressful and strenuous race for the White House,” she added.

Manigault Newman is not the only person concerned about Trump’s health heading into 2024 as the former president considers a run.

Earlier this year Franklin Graham, an evangelical Christian leader and early supporter of Trump’s told Axios a potential 2024 presidential bid by Trump, who would be 78 in 2024, would “be a very tough thing to do.”

“You know the guy does not eat well, you know, and it’s amazing the energy that he has,” he added.

Trump has strong support among Republicans and has hinted that he would consider seeking the party nomination again for president in 2024.
