To the members of QAnon who believe that Trump will be inaugurated on March 4, seeing President Joe Biden board Air Force One was a devastating blow because they believed that Trump was secretly using it.
NBC reporter Ben Collins, explained that the group is slowly losing hope, “For example, last night when Joe Biden boarded Air Force One, the real one, for the first time, that was a blow. They felt betrayed by this. They thought that Air Force One was still being used by President Trump in secret.”
Supporters of QAnon actually believe that there are two presidents governing the country right now and it will be sorted out on March 4 when Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 19th President.
The March 4th date comes from another right wing conspiracy group the ‘Sovereign Citizens’ who believes that an 1871 law threw out the American government of the founding fathers and turned the U.S. into a corporation.
Since they believe that any Amendment passed after 1871 is invalid then the 20th Amendment passed in 1933 that changed the inauguration date from March 4 to January 20, does not apply.
The March 4 date is getting more attention after it was reported that Trump’s Washington D.C. hotel had increased their prices for a room on that day according to Forbes. The outlet reports Trump International Hotel also increased their rates on Jan. 5 and 6.
