QAnon dismiss March 4: It's "just a regular day."

For followers of QAnon, March 4th was suppose to be the day when Donald Trump returns to Washington where he would be sworn in as the 19th President of the United States. But that did not happen.

Prior to Jan. 20th, supporters of QAnon believed that the date of Biden’s inauguration would usher in ‘The Storm’–the day when Trump would declare martial law and order mass arrests and executions of his political enemies and Satan worshiping pedophiles. Then the ‘Great Awakening’ would begin.

When that didn’t happen, followers of QAnon began touting March 4 as the date when Trump would return to Washington and be sworn as the 19th President of the United States.

The March 4 date touted by followers of QAnon, borrows from another fringe right wing group the ‘Sovereign Citizen Movement’. The group believes that a 1871 law threw out the American government of the founding fathers and turned the U.S. into a corporation.

Since they believe that any Amendment passed after 1871 is invalid, then the changing of the inauguration date by the 20th Amendment in 1933, from March 4 to January 20, to shorten the lame duck period of the outgoing president, does not apply. Followers of QAnon have merged their beliefs with those of the ‘Sovereign Citizens’ to come up with the belief that Trump will be inaugurated on March 4 as the 19th president of the original republic and not the corporation they believe was created in 1871.

But, now that the day is upon us, Q influencers are now claiming that March 4 was a false flag operation created by the media and left wing groups.

From Newsweek:

“Some of the biggest QAnon profiles have now completely ruled out the possibility that Trump will be inaugurated on March 4, as well as showing complete denial by suggesting all claims this was an actual theory of theirs is a “false flag” operation.”

“No Trump supporters are showing up anywhere tomorrow. So what’s their angle?,” Ghost Ezra a QAnon supporter with more than 200,000 subscribers on Telegram wrote on Wednesday.

“Same as January 6th. Their goon squad agent provocateurs will show up in MAGA gear and cause a riot. Accomplice media will run with it. Stupid normies will believe it. Rinse, repeat,” a user wrote in response.

Other popular QAnon accounts on Telegram and Reddit dismissed the day as insignificant while blaming the media for hyping it and falsely claiming that left wing groups were responsible for the violence on Jan. 6.

“March 4th was set up by Antifa to get everyone to come out! False flag! Stay home,” another QAnon supporter wrote on Telegram.

“None of us on this ‘prominent QAnon forum’ will be in Washington DC tomorrow. None of us think that Trump will be announced President tomorrow. Tomorrow will just be a regular day,” a thread On Reddit-style message board, the greatawakening.win states.

Now, some QAnon adherents are left to feel hopeless after another one of, their fascistic predictions failed to materialize.

“How come everyone kept playing March 4th and now they’re saying oh no it’s not happening. I’m so sick of this,” Telegram user Magamandi asked, according to Newsweek.
