Quinnipiac Poll: Lindsay Graham and Jaime Harrison tied in Senate race.

A new Quinnipiac poll released on Wednesday shows incumbent Republican senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham tied with his Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison.

The poll shows both candidates tied at 48 percent among likely voters in the state.

Graham who is seeking his fourth term in the U.S. Senate has a 44 percent favorability rating. 49 percent of likely voters say he is NOT honest while 40 percent say he is. 48 percent of likely South Carolina voters believe Graham does not care about average people, while 45 percent say he does.

In contrast, 47 percent of likely South Carolina voters have a favorable opinion of Harrison. 48 percent of voters say he is honest while 24 percent say he is not. A majority, 55 percent say Harrison cares about average people while 25 percent say he does not.

More bad news for Graham, an overwhelming majority, 93 percent of likely voters have already made up their minds while 6 percent say they may change their minds.

“A victor by almost 16 points back in 2014, Senator Graham stares down the first real test of his Senate tenure. Outspent and accused by some of being a Trump apologist, he is in a precarious tie,” Polling analyst Tim Malloy said.

In other closely watched Senate races, Democrat Sara Gideon leads incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins by 12 points (54%-42%) in Maine. Over in Kentucky, Democrat Amy McGrath trails Senate Majority Mitch McConnell by 12 points (53%-41%)
