Republican congressman Rep. Paul Gosar (Ariz.) is set to appear at a white nationalist event days after he blamed a staffing error for his appearance at ….a white nationalist event.
This time, Gosar will be attending the event on a day that is very significant to white nationalists and neo-Nazis: Hitler’s birthday.
The American Populist Social, will be hosted by the American Populist Union with John Doyle, host of “Heck Off, Commie!” and will be held in Tempe, Arizona on April 20. Gosar will be in attendance as a “special guest”.
Doyle previously organized a “Stop the Steal” rally with white nationalist Nick Fuentes. He has also said that Martin Luther King Jr. was “not a hero” and has claimed that liberalism is linked to satanism.
“The Social will be served with dinner and a chance to meet some of the best legislatures, best people running for office, and media personalities in the country! The night will also include addresses from our special guests!” event organizers say.
According to AZ Mirror, the American Populist Union is closely aligned with groypers, a group of white nationalists whose goal is to make their ideas become a part of the Republican mainstream.
Gosar appeared at a white nationalist conference last month organized by Fuentes. He later blamed his staff for his attendance at the event saying it was a “miscommunication.”
