RFK Jr nomination support letter signed by doctors with revoked or suspended licenses.

A letter by ‘Doctors for Robert Kennedy Jr.’ sent to the US Senate in support of the prominent anti-vaxxer’s nomination for Health and Human Services secretary was signed by several physicians who faced disciplinary actions over their conduct.

An Associated Press investigation found that of the nearly 800 signers of the letter there were several doctors who have had their licenses revoked or suspended for misconduct including handing out vaccine waivers pre-COVID.

Furthermore, many of the signers were not even doctors.

The list included a self-described journalist, a certified public accountant, a firefighter/paramedic, a certified health coach and someone who said they had a bachelor’s degree “with an emphasis on Jungian Psychology,” the AP reports.

The signers also include 20 chiropractors who have worked with organizations funded by RFK Jr and at least 75 nurses, as well as physician assistants. More than 90 did not include any credentials.

Meanwhile, more than 15,000 doctors have signed a letter urging senators to vote against confirming RFK Jr as HHS secretary.

“The health and well-being of 336 million Americans depend on leadership at HHS that prioritizes science, evidence-based medicine, and strengthening the integrity of our public health system,” the letter reads. “RFK Jr. is not only unqualified to lead this essential agency — he is actively dangerous.”
