The disgraced former attorney for Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani was finally revealed on ‘The Mask Singer’ months after reports say judges walked off the set following the reveal.
Giuliani was unveiled as Jack in the Box, during the Wednesday, April 20, episode following his performance of “Bad to the Bone” by George Thorogood and the Destroyers.
Before Giuliani was unmasked, the judges all guessed who could be in costume. Jenny McCarthy guessed Joe Pesci. Nicole Scherzinger named Al Roker. Robin Thicke thought it was Robert Duvall. Ken Jeong guessed Elon Musk.
The reveal comes months after Deadline reported that Thicke and Jeong walked off the stage after Giuliani was revealed.
According to US Weekly, Jeong walked off declaring “I’m done” during Giuliani’s unmasked performance at the end of the episode. Thicke was not shown leaving the stage but he did not appear alongside Scherzinger, and McCarthy as they danced to Giuliani’s performance.
“I guess the main reason is I just had a granddaughter, Grace,” Giuliani answered when asked why he did the show. “I want her to know that you should try everything, even things that are completely unlike you and unlikely. I couldn’t think of anything more unlike me and unlikely than this. And I enjoy the show, I have for years, and it just seemed like it would be fun. I don’t get to have a lot of fun.”
