Sean Hannity criticized Joe Biden for being too energetic during SOTU.

After spending much of Joe Biden’s presidency describing him as a doddering, senile, low-energy old man incapable of uttering a coherent sentence or even dress himself, Fox News host Sean Hannity pivoted on Thursday night to attack the president for being too energetic.

On his show after Biden’s address, Hannity criticized him for having too much energy and suggested he was on something.

“His speech was so hyped up it was bizarre. I will not be shouting the whole hour. Frankly, so at odds with Everyday Joe, it’s even frightening to me. He spent most of the night shouting, speeding through his speech, and clearly overcompensating from the normal, everyday Joe that can barely string two sentences together,” Hannity said in a clip shared by Mediaite.

“Tonight, America saw, let’s say, a very different Joe Biden. I might call him “Jacked-Up Joe.” And that’s being charitable,” Hannity added. “He sounded like a hyper-caffeinated, angry, old man.”

Other Republicans also criticized Biden for being too vigorous, reflecting the GOP’s spin of the president’s comments.

“THIS IS LIKE A SHOUTING MATCH, EVERY LINE IS BEING SHOUTED,” Donald Trump cleared in an all caps rant on Truth Social.

“Wow! They over medicated him! Angry, confused, and yelling,” demoted ex-White House physician turn GOP congressman Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) wrote on X/Twitter.
