Speaker at Libertarian convention applauded after telling Trump to ‘go f—k himself’ on eve of ex-president’s speech.

Donald Trump is set to deliver a speech at the Libertarian National Convention on Saturday, but if the crowd’s reaction to the mention of his name on Friday is any indication, he’s in for a difficult time

Trump sycophant Vivek Ramaswamy was booed when he mentioned the former president during his speech appealing to the audience for their support.

“I’m speaking to you as a libertarian at my own core. I have gotten to know Donald Trump over the course of the last several years and the last several months,” Ramaswamy said as the crowd booed in response. “Do you want to influence the next administration or don’t you?”

The crowd also shouted “no” when Ramaswamy asked if they would “agree with him on 100% of what he says.”

It was a much different reaction later when Kaelan Dreyer, a Libertarian from New Mexico yelled in a microphone that he propose “we go tell Donald Trump to go f—k himself.”

The crowd cheered and applauded Dreyer as another man shouted, “that was my motion too! We are a Libertarian convention looking to nominate Libertarians. We do not need to give that time to non-Libertarians.”

Other audience members chanted “f—k Donald Trump.”

Libertarian National Committee Chairwoman Angela McArdle previously defended the decision to invite Trump to speak amid division in the party.

“President Trump, or at least his team, perceive themselves as needing our votes,” McArdle said. “They’re willing to come and speak to us, to listen to us. That’s really unprecedented. Why wouldn’t we take that opportunity?”

However, Bill Redpath, a former party chair, told Politico that a “vast majority of Libertarian Party members are not happy” with the decision to invite Trump.

“There are some people who call Trump the most Libertarian president of our lifetimes. That’s utterly ridiculous,” he added.
