Former adult film star Stormy Daniels had some advice for Melania Trump after her husband was found guilty in a criminal trial last week.
In an interview with The Mirror on Sunday, Daniels urged Melania to leave Trump, not because of the extramarital affairs but because he’s a convicted felon.
“I don’t know what their agreement may or may not be, but Melania needs to leave him. Not because of what he did with me or other women but because he is a convicted felon,” Daniels said.
“It’s been proven he is abusive; he was found liable for sexual assault and tax fraud and is now a criminal. He’s neither Teflon Don nor Teflon Con anymore,” she added.
A $130,000 hush money payment to Daniels in 2016 was at the center of the six-week criminal trial in Manhattan where Trump was ultimately found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records to silence Daniels about their sexual encounter.
Daniels offered graphic testimony about her sexual encounter with Trump in his hotel suite in 2006, a year after he married Melania.
While several members of the Trump family showed up to the trial, Melania was absent.
Daniels speculated that Melania chose not to attend the trial to spare Barron from hearing the scandalous information being revealed.
“I would not want to expose my children to that dangerous environment,” Daniels said. “You know, if it was the other way around, even if I wanted to support my spouse or my family member, I would choose the safety and privacy of my child over attending court.”
