Trump calls Bill Barr a “sloppy, lethargic mess” after the former AG warns of “horror show” and “chaos” if he is re-elected.

Gutless pig": Trump slams Barr over indictment comment.

Donald Trump called his former Attorney General Bill Barr a “sloppy lethargic mess” after Barr said the former one-term president should not be re-elected in 2024 because a second term would only bring “choas” and would be a “horror show.”

“Bill Barr was a sloppy, lethargic mess as the Attorney General. He was lazy as hell, and petrified of the Radical Left Democrats, & the fact that they were going to impeach him. I wish they had, which would have meant that he was doing his job, which he wasn’t,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding that Barr was “Bad on Election Fraud & just about everything else he touched”.

The post comes after Barr said at an event on Friday that Trump will deliver “chaos” and “horror show” if he returns to the White House in 2024.

“If you believe in his policies, what he’s advertising as his policies, he’s the last person who could actually execute them and achieve them. He does not have the discipline,” Barr said, according to the Hill.

“It is a horror show when he’s left to his own devices. And so, you may want his policies, but Trump will not deliver Trump policies,” Barr continued, adding, “he will deliver chaos and, if anything, lead to a backlash that will set his policies much further back than they otherwise would be.”

Barr resigned from the Trump administration after the November 2020 presidential election after contradicting the former president when he revealed that the Department of Justice had not found any evidence of large-scale voter or election fraud that would overturn Biden’s victory.

Since then, Barr has become a frequent critic of the former president and his chances in 2024.

“Sloppy Bill is now a human sound bite, along with Karl Rove, Wacky Peggy “I hate Reagan” Noonan, & Paul Ryan, for Rupert Murdoch & his ANTI-TRUMP (just like 2016!) WSJ, Plus!,” Trump wrote on Tuesday.
