Trump considering Stefanik for UN ambassador.

President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly considering Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) for a top role in his administration.

According to Politico, Trump is considering Stefanik to become his next ambassador to the United Nations.

Stefanik, one of Trump’s staunchest defenders, has repeatedly attacked the United Nations over accusations that the world body is antisemitic and has called for a “complete reassessment of U.S. funding of the United Nations.”

On Thursday, Trump announced his first major staff pick when he selected his campaign manager Susie Wiles to serve as his next chief of staff.
