Trump 'glares' at reporter who revealed he fell asleep during trial.

Donald Trump apparently ‘glared’ at New York Times reported Maggie Haberman who revealed that he fell asleep on the first day of his hush money trial in New York.

Haberman reported from inside the courtroom that Trump fell asleep.

“Former President Donald J. Trump seemed alternately irritated and exhausted Monday morning,” Haberman wrote on the NYT liveblog, adding, “Mr. Trump appeared to nod off a few times, his mouth going slack and his head dropping onto his chest.

Haberman later added that Trump was apparently “jolted back awake” after “noticing the notes his lawyer passed him several minutes ago.”

As Trump exited the courtroom he stared at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, then turned his eyes to the press pool and glared at Haberman for several seconds.

“After the thirty-some jurors remaining file out of the room for a brief afternoon break, Trump rises. After the jurors leave the courtroom, he stares over at DA Alvin Bragg. Then Trump turns his eyes to the press pool. As he exits, he glares at New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman for several seconds as he walks out,” according to Law360 court reporter Frank Runyeon.

Monday was the first day of Trump’s criminal trial in New York where he faces 34 criminal counts of allegedly falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election campaign.
