Donald Trump delivered a profane rant attacking Democrats at his rally in Ohio on Saturday predicting that the Republican party will defy expectations in the midterms.

“I think we’re going to have a big surprise, because they don’t know what’s happening,” Trump said while speaking at the rally at Butler High School in Vandalia.

“Just get out and vote,” Trump added. “If you do that, we’re going to win, and we’re going to win big. And we’re going to shove it up their ass.”

Trump was joined at the rally by Sen. Jon Husted, R-Ohio, and gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Multiple incumbent Republican senators across the country are facing tough political headwinds in the midterms due to Trump’s record low approval ratings, an unpopular war in Iran, a tariff war with Canada and rising inflation where cost of living remains a concern.

Both Husted and Ramaswamy are in competitive races against Democrats Sherrod Brown and Dr. Amy Acton, respectively.

A recent New York Times and Siena University poll finds that Democrats are leading by 3 points in Ohio, a state Trump won comfortably three times.
