Trump says being booked at Fulton County jail was a ‘terrible experience’

Republican lawmaker plans to nominate Trump for speaker.

Donald Trump said he had a bad experience while being booked at the Fulton County jail after he surrendered on charges related to his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Trump told Newsmax that being at the jail was a “terrible experience”

But then he added: “I came in and I was treated very nicely.”

In another interview with Fox News Digital, Trump said, “it is not a comfortable feeling—especially when you’ve done nothing wrong.”

“They insisted on a mugshot and I agreed to do that,” he said. “This is the only time I’ve ever taken a mugshot.”

Trump was processed as inmate number P01135809, with his height listed as 6’3″, having “blond or strawberry hair” and blue eyes.

Thursday was the fourth time this year Trump has been arrested and booked, a fact he alluded to in his Newsmax interview.

“I went through an experience that I never thought I’d have to go through, but then I’ve gone through the same experience three other times. In my whole life, I didn’t know anything about indictments. And now I’ve been indicted, like, four times,” he said.

“Everything is just like one thing after the next. What they want to do is they want to try and wear you out which they would never do,” Trump added.

The former president was already arrested in Manhattan, Florida, and Washington, D.C, but no mugshots were taken in those cases.
