Trump wanted to trademark ‘rigged election’ after 2020 loss.

Trump slams 'fake charges' brought against by him by Jan. 6 committee.

Former President Donald Trump wanted to trademark the phrase ‘rigged election’ after he was defeated in the November 2020 presidential election, according to transcripts released by the Jan. 6 committee Friday.

On November 9, Dan Scavino, the former White House deputy chief of staff for communications forwarded an email to Jared Kushner with the request from Trump to trademark “Save America PAC!” and “Rigged Election!”

“Hey Jared! POTUS wants to trademark/own rights to below, I don’t know who to see — or ask … I don’t know who to take to,” Scavino wrote.

Kushner forwarded the email to Trump’s son, Eric, Trump 2020 campaign lawyers Alex Cannon and Justin Clark, and CFO Sean Dollman, asking: “Guys — can we do ASAP please?”

“Both web URLs are already registered. Save America PAC was registered October 23 of this year. Was that done by the campaign?” Eric Trump responded.

Dollman responded by confirming that ‘Save America PAC’ is already trademarked and offered to file for a trademark for ‘Save America.’”

“Go,” Kushner responded, according to the transcript.

Since his loss to Joe Biden, Trump and his allies have been claiming the 2020 election was rigged without providing any evidence to support their claim.
