Donald Trump lashed out at pop superstar Taylor Swift on Sunday ahead of the Super Bowl claiming he “made her so much money” and she would be “disloyal” to endorse Joe Biden in the presidential election.
In a post on his Truth Social app, Trump claims he made Swift successful by signing the Music Modernization Act into law in 2018.
“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will,” he wrote.
He continued: “There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money. Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”
Trump’s post comes hours before Kansas City Chiefs, with Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, face off against San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
Swift had previously endorsed Biden for president in 2020 and Kelce had participated in an advertising campaign for the pharmaceutical company, Pfizer the makers of the COVID-19 vaccine.
This had led to an absurd conspiracy theory on the right that Swift is part of a psychological operations plot by the NFL and Democrats to help get Biden re-elected.
