Twitter suspended an account on Thursday that was tweeting statements from Donald Trump’s website, hours after it was created.
The account went by the handle “@DJTDesk” and its bio read: “Posts copied from Save America on behalf of the 45th POTUS; Originally composed via DonaldJTrump/Desk.”
“As stated in our ban evasion policy, we’ll take enforcement action on accounts whose apparent intent is to replace or promote content affiliated with a suspended account,” a Twitter spokesperson said.
Jason Miller told The Hill that the account was not affiliated with Trump.
