Video resurfaces of Trump denying Bondi told him he is in Epstein files after bombshell WSJ report

A clip has resurfaced of Donald Trump telling reporters at the White House earlier this month that Attorney General Pam Bondi did not notify him that his name was mentioned in documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, after the Wall Street Journal reported that the Justice Department did just that.

On July 15, a reporter at the White House explicitly asked Trump “specifically, did she [Bondi] tell you at all that your name appeared in the files?”

“No, no,” Trump responded, before falsely claiming that the files “were made” up by former FBI Director James Comey and former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

On Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Justice Department reviewed documents related to Epstein earlier this year and found that Trump’s name was mentioned “several times.”

Bondi told Trump in May that his name appeared in files related to the late convicted sex offender.
