Boebert doubles down on ‘pimp cane’ attack against Al Green.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) is defending suggesting that Black Democratic Rep. Al Green (Texas) is a “pimp” after he disrupted Donald Trump’s address to Congress.

“For him to go and shake his pimp cane at President Trump was absolutely abhorrent,” Boebert told Real America’s Voice last week.

This week, Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.) introduced a resolution to censure Boebert over her remarks which she labeled as “racist and derogatory.”

“After my discussion on the House floor last week when Speaker Johnson told me he’d have to censure half the members if he actually enforced the rules of the Congress, I decided to help, and tonight introduced a resolution to censure Representative Boebert for her racist and derogatory statements about Representative Al Green,” Houlahan said.

In a interview with Real America’s Voice, Boebert brushed off Houlahan’s censure resolution and doubled down on her comment

“Representative Houla-whatever — Houlahan, Houla-ha — she has decided that she was getting far too many attacks from her base for voting against the censure of Representative Al Green and decided to attack me for referencing his cane as a pimp cane,” Boebert told host Grant Stinchfield.

“And, Grant, I stand by it,” she added.

Houlahan actually voted for the measure to censure Green, one of only ten Democrats to do so.

“Listen, it was a little slight to his cane and his gesture—his cane that was wielded at the president of the United States—and you know what, if she wants to censure me over it, go ahead and try girlfriend,” Boebert said.

“I have the American people who will show up, who will donate and who will reelect me,” added the lawmaker who was forced to run re-election in a different district because voters in her original district turned on her after a series of embarrassing displays, including getting kicked out of a theater for groping her date.

Boebert then appears to suggest that Green never uses his cane for walking.

“I have never seen Al Green actually use his cane as a support to walk. I have seen him shake it for years, all throughout the Capitol, during any meeting that I’ve ever been present with him in and if that gold-plated cane isn’t a pimp cane, I don’t know what is,” she said.
