Detroit lawmaker receives racist voicemail saying she should be lynched after Giuliani's voter fraud hearing.

The Democratic chair of the Michigan state House Oversight Committee, Rep. Cynthia Johnson is receiving death threats after she questioned Rudy Giuliani and his witness Melissa Carone during a hearing about the election on Wednesday.

Over the weekend, Rep. Johnson posted a voicemail on social media in which the caller said, “You should be swinging from a (expletive) rope you Democrat.”

That’s just one of multiple voicemails threatening violence against the state representative. Fox 2 Detroit reported that there was another voicemail from two men telling her, “Your time is coming … from the (expletive) gallows you’ll be hanging.”

Both Democratic and Republican lawmakers in Michigan have received death threats since Donald Trump and his attorney Rudy Giuliani started alleging that there was massive voter fraud in the election, especially in large black, Democratic areas.

At Wednesday’s hearing Giuliani claimed that Detroit was responsible for 500,000 to 700,000 ‘illegal’ votes despite only casting 250,138 votes.

He also doubled down on his claims that there was a mysterious “dump” of ballots in Detroit in the morning hours after Election Day and call the state’s entire election system “crooked”.
