Georgia Republican congressman Rep. Austin Scott announced on Monday that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
“Rep. Scott has tested positive for COVID-19 and is following guidance from the House attending physician as well as his personal physician,” Jason Lawrence, Scott’s chief of staff said in a statement. “Austin and Vivien are appreciative of the prayers and well-wishes.”

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Scott is the third Republican congressman from Georgia to have tested positive for coronavirus since October.
