Hosting provider GoDaddy has given Texas anti-abortion group ‘Right to Life ‘ 24 hours to find a different place to host its website which allows people to report suspected abortion under Texas new anti-abortion law.
“Last night we informed prolifewhistleblower.com they have violated GoDaddy’s terms of service and have 24 hours to move to a different provider,” the company said in a statement, according to Reuters.
The site reportedly violated section 5.2 of GoDaddy’s Terms of Service which states: You will not collect or harvest (or permit anyone else to collect or harvest) any User Content (as defined below) or any non-public or personally identifiable information about another User or any other person or entity without their express prior written consent.
The site has been under attack from protesters who flooded the website with shrek porn, memes, and prank submissions.
In response, the website’s founders blocked people from outside the country from submitting false reports. People who are using VPNS to mask their locations and those with a history of trying to spam the site were blocked as well.
