Right-wing podcaster Tim Pool stormed off the set of a debate after he was accused of grifting.

The incident unfolded during Jubilee’s “Surrounded” series, titled “1 Moderate vs 20 Progressives,” when Instagram influencer Mason, known as @OneHandPolitics, challenged Pool’s repeated assertions that the U.S. is ‘tracking towards’ a “civil war.”

“You’ve been saying this since 2019 … There’s 42 of your titles that have the word ‘civil war’ in it. Like big fonts on the front,” Mason said. “So why is that? It’s sensationalist. It’s easy to get clicks on that. There’s a reason why you say it because it’s very profitable for your business.”

Pool pushed back, insisting, “I’ve never called for civil war,” and said his “tracking toward” language originated from The Atlantic’s reporting citing national security experts.

“I’m saying that you say bullshit in order to get money,” Mason told Pool, adding that he is like the Christians who predict that the rapture is coming “every f*cking year.”

“You want a soapbox? You want me to get you a soapbox?” Pool asked.

“I can leave. You want me to leave?” he continued before getting up from his chair and walking off the set.

He returned minutes later, prompting Mason to say, “Thank you for returning.”
