Elon Musk’s owned Twitter went on a rampage on Thursday night banning accounts of several reporters.

Musk’s Twitter banned the account of The New York Times’ Ryan Mac, CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, The Washington Post’s Drew Harwell, The Intercept’s Micha Lee, Mashable’s Matt Binder, and progressive independent journalist Aaron Rupar.

It is not clear why the bans are taking place but the journalists have recently done stories on Musk

The suspensions came after Twitter banned the account belonging to their competitor Mastodon. The account had tweeted earlier that the ‘Elon Jet’ account that was suspended from Twitter is still active on Mastadon.
