President-elect Biden is reportedly consider Cindy McCain to serve as the US ambassador to the United Kingdom, according to multiple reports.
President-elect Biden became the first Democrat to win the state of Arizona since 1996 and it was due in part to Cindy McCain, the widow of late Sen. John McCain.

“It’s hers if she wants it,” a source told The London Times. “She delivered Arizona. They know that.”
Tony Gardner, President Obama’s ambassador to the EU, is also being considered, the paper said.
President-elect Biden has signaled that he is willing to reach across the aisle and choose Republicans to fill some roles in his administration. McCain, along with former Republican senator from Arizona Jeff Flake and former Ohio Gov. John Kasich names have been floated as possible Republicans who can play a role in the Biden administration.
