President Joe Biden asked supporters to donate to his campaign to avoid “four more years of that,” referring to Donald Trump’s disastrous town hall appearance on CNN Wednesday night.
“It’s simple, folks. Do you want four more years of that? If you don’t, pitch in to our campaign,” Biden tweeted.
Biden’s tweet comes after Trump’s hour long town hall appearance in front of a friendly crowd in New Hampshire in which he pushed false claims about his 2020 election loss, clashed with host Kaitlan Collins and mocked E. Jean Carroll one day after a jury found Trump liable for sexual abusing and defaming her.
The former President also defended his supporters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 and said he would likely pardon “many of them” if he is re-elected in 2024.
All this while the audience applauded and laughed at his remarks.
