Conservative moms group offer ‘CRT bounty’ to turn in teachers who talk about systemic racism.

A conservative moms group in New Hampshire is offering $500 to anyone who can catch a teacher in the act of talking about racism in the classroom.

This comes after the GOP-controlled legislature in New Hampshire inserted its new anti-divisive-subject law into the state’s budget as the “Right to Freedom From Discrimination in Public Workplaces and Education Act.”

The language is very vague, it forbids the teaching of “divisive concepts” relating to race, racism, sexism and gender. When Governor Chris Sununu signed the bill into law, a majority of his diversity council resigned in protest, The Washington Post reported.

Teachers who violate this vague law can be brought before state authorities and lose their license if it is found they have “discriminated against an individual or identified group,” according to Forbes. State officials have also set up a website to allow parents and students to report teachers who they believe violated the law by filling out a questionnaire and submitting it to the state.

Now, the New Hampshire chapter of Moms for Liberty is planning to pay a $500 bounty to the first person to successfully catch a teacher breaking the new law.

“We’ve got $500 for the person that first successfully catches a public school teacher breaking this law. Students, parents, teachers, school staff…We want to know! We will pledge anonymity if you want,” the group tweeted.

Responding to a question about how an individual can contribute, the group wrote that contributions could be made via PayPal with the note “CRT Bounty.”

According to the Washington Post Moms for Liberty is a conservative nonprofit organization with 135 chapters across 35 states, totaling more than 56,000 members. The group mobilizes its members to oppose mask mandates and curriculum related to LGBTQ rights, race, and discrimination at school board meetings.
